Broad Arab-African Solidarity with Sudan in Facing Challenges
In a step reflecting the depth of Arab-African solidarity, the Sudanese Embassy in Algeria received a high-level delegation from the Executive Committee of the Arab and African Youth Council. The delegation met with Her Excellency Ambassador Nadia Mohamed Khair and members of the Sudanese diplomatic mission. The meeting aimed to reaffirm the Council's full support for Sudan and its legitimate institutions during this critical phase.
In this context, Dr. Nabil Yahiaoui, President of the Arab and African Youth Council, stated that the Executive Committee, which recently held its meeting in Oran, believes it is time to reciprocate Sudan’s longstanding support. Sudan hosts the Council’s General Secretariat headquarters and has played a pioneering role in supporting security and peace issues in Africa, as well as demonstrating continuous solidarity with the region's peoples in facing challenges, particularly foreign interventions that threaten regional stability.
For its part, the Sudanese Embassy in Algeria expressed deep gratitude for this kind gesture from the Arab and African Youth Council. It emphasized its appreciation for this honorable stance during Sudan’s exceptional circumstances. The embassy also stressed the importance of strengthening joint efforts among Arab and African nations and peoples to support Sudan during this sensitive period in its history.
