As part of Pink October, the Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) joined hands with the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNJC), under the leadership of Mme Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou, to organize an information and discussion session on Breast Cancer — held on October 25, 2025, at the CNJC Headquarters in Bastos–Yaoundé. This important activity, organized in partnership with the Women and Youth Leadership Empowerment Forum (WYLEF), YUMMEN, and the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC), with the support of the African Union, aims to raise awareness among youth and women about prevention, early detection, and treatment of breast cancer. The session was led by medical experts and inspiring young leaders, reaffirming our joint commitment to youth-driven health advocacy and the empowerment of women across Africa and the Arab world. Because the health of our mothers, sisters, and friends matters — together, we raise our voices to save lives.
