The African Union Commission is the main executive body of the African Union, responsible for implementing the policies and programs adopted by African leaders. Established in 2001, the Commission is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The African Union Commission seeks to promote peace and security by supporting peacekeeping efforts, enhancing security, and resolving conflicts across the continent. It aims to achieve African unity and integration by working towards political and economic integration among member states and fostering greater African unity. In terms of development, the Commission is committed to supporting economic and social development through projects aimed at improving infrastructure, developing transportation and energy, as well as promoting human lefts by protecting democracy and good governance.
