The Libyan Minister of Youth, Mr. Fathallah Abdel Latif, met with the Members of the Executive Committee of the Afro Arab Youth Council (AAYC) on the sidelines of the African Youth Forum held in Oran, Algeria, from November 1st to 4th, 2024. The forum is hosted in partnership with the African Union Commission and the Algerian Higher Youth Council, with participation from 55 African countries, as well as ministers and youth experts.

About the Arab and African Youth Council

An International Arab and African Youth Organization An independent legal entity, this organization encompasses national and regional youth organizations and councils from the Arab and African regions, as well as those in the diaspora. It advocates for the rights and issues of youth and contributes to achieving the goals, aspirations, and ambitions of Arab and African youth across various political, economic, social, and cultural matters. Additionally, it focuses on issues related to Arab and African cooperation.

The council includes representatives from youth organizations, bodies, and councils from national youth organizations, as well as youth representatives from around 60 Arab and African countries, including African youth in the diaspora.
