In a renewed demonstration of the active engagement of African youth leaders, Mr. Khadim Diop, President of the National Youth Council of Senegal and Vice President of the Afro-Arab Youth Council for the Francophone Group, participated as a panelist in a youth session jointly organized by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Senegalese National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSS) as part of the preparations for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.

The *Afro Arab Youth Council (AAYC), represented by its General Secretariat and all its members, extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, as well as to the families of the victims of the tragic road accident that occurred in Boumerdès Province claiming the lives of 25 people and leaving several others injured.
