The Afro-Arab Youth Council, represented by its leadership, General Secretariat, and members, extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, its leadership, government, and people, following the tragic wildfires that affected several provinces across the brotherly Republic of Algeria, resulting in loss of life, injuries, and material damage.
As the Council follows with profound sadness the developments and consequences of this tragedy, it expresses its full solidarity and stands alongside the brotherly Algerian people during this difficult time. The Council prays that Almighty Allah may grant the victims His vast mercy and forgiveness and admit them into His eternal paradise, grant the injured a speedy recovery, and protect Algeria and its people from all harm and adversity.
The Council also commends the significant efforts undertaken by the Algerian authorities, Civil Protection services, youth institutions, and field teams in confronting the wildfires, protecting lives and property, and addressing their consequences. The Council expresses its appreciation to all those who continue to fulfill their duties under these challenging circumstances.
Algeria, with its historic, cultural, and humanitarian standing in the Arab and African consciousness, will continue to receive the solidarity and support of Arab and African youth. The Council affirms that such difficult circumstances strengthen the values of solidarity, mutual support, and cooperation among peoples, while reminding us of the importance of uniting efforts to confront disasters and crises and protect people and the environment.
We pray that Almighty Allah protects Algeria, its leadership, people, and land, grants patience and strength to the families of the victims and their loved ones, grants the injured recovery and safety, and restores security and peace of mind to the affected areas.
Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
