The Afro Arab Youth Council Coordinator for Central Africa, Mr. Hamlha Douksia Senghor, represented the Council at the World Diplomacy Summit 2026, organised by the International Youth Forum for the Development of Africa (FIJADA) in the capital, Kinshasa, from 9–11 September 2026.
The Summit was held under the theme:
“Democratic Republic of the Congo, Heart of Africa: Contemporary Diplomacy as a Lever for Promoting Sustainable Development,” with broad participation from representatives of governments, diplomatic missions, regional and international organisations and institutions, alongside youth, leaders, investors, academics and representatives of civil society.
During his participation, the Council’s Coordinator for Central Africa shared his experiences in the fields of youth work and diplomacy, emphasising the importance of African youth unity and collective action to strengthen the continent’s influence and presence on the international stage.
The Summit also provided an opportunity to highlight the efforts and programmes of the Afro Arab Youth Council in the areas of youth empowerment, youth diplomacy, peacebuilding, and strengthening Arab-African cooperation and integration.
This participation comes as part of the Council’s commitment to expanding its presence in platforms for dialogue and youth diplomacy, building new partnerships, and bringing the voice of Arab and African youth to regional and international forums.
